Joey Ramone passed away on this day (April 15) in 2001. Joey no longer walks Earth (and Dee Dee and Johnny are no longer with us either), but the unreal music he and they left behind is immortal, and it will fucking blast and rip forever. It still blows my mind I was briefly on Earth at the same time as this man, this legend, Jeffrey Hyman.

Here's a writeup Ultimate Classic Rock put up today on Joey and the Ramones for the 25th anniversary of his passing: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/joey-ramone-death-2001
