I could not be more pleased with how my little project went today. Partner asked me if I could make a cap for a Trodat Printy-Dater 4810 stamp last night, so I took some measurements.

This afternoon I hopped on Blender, and after only 1 revision+reprint on my Ender 3 it came out perfect! I could cry.

I'll put it up on thingiverse tomorrow probably if anyone is interested.

I've been giving away creative works in various forms (#fiction, software, photos, etc.) for somewhere around 35 years.

For most of that time, I've enabled "tips" in case anyone felt so inclined after receiving something I made & gave away.

In ~35 years I don't think anyone has ever tipped me. Occasionally I will hear how a freely-licensed work was reused by someone. I have audio in #Minecraft for example, and possibly FNaF and other games.

But... tips? No.
