Today I tried with the iPhone another lens disassembled from a very cheap 40x22 binoculars, a little bit bigger than the one I was using until now. I don't dislike the result. Greater depth of field for large insects and interesting bokeh.

Hoy he probado con el iPhone otra lente desmontada de unos binoculares 40x22 muy baratos, un poco más grande que la que usaba hasta ahora. No me disgusta el resultado. Mayor profundidad de campo para insectos grandes y un bokeh interesante.

Heute habe ich mit dem iPhone ein anderes Objektiv ausprobiert, das von einem sehr billigen 40x22-Fernglas abmontiert wurde, das etwas größer ist als das, das ich bisher verwendet habe. Das Ergebnis gefällt mir nicht schlecht. Größere Tiefenschärfe für große Insekten und ein interessantes Bokeh.

When I first started taking insect photos I used to focus only on insects. Now I sometimes give up taking the photo when the background doesn't help the insect stand out, isn't beautiful or I just don't like it.

Cuando comencé a hacer fotos de insectos me centraba sólo en éstos. Ahora renuncio a veces a hacer la foto cuando el fondo no ayuda a resaltar el insecto, no es bello o simplemente no me gusta.

Als ich anfing, Insekten zu fotografieren, habe ich mich nur auf Insekten konzentriert. Jetzt gebe ich manchmal auf, wenn der Hintergrund das Insekt nicht zur Geltung bringt, nicht schön ist oder mir einfach nicht gefällt.

Another leaf hopper assassin bug Zelus renardii. It is an invasive species that should not be here in Europe. This bug is native to America, and despite its small size it is known as the assassin bug because it is a predator that seriously threatens the native fauna. Since a few years ago there were isolated observations, but I see it very often in a park in the center of Valencia. I took this photo in July 2024.

Otra chinche asesina Zelus renardii. Es una especie invasora que no debería estar aquì, en Europa. Esta chinche es originaria de América, y pesar de su pequeño tamaño es conocida como chinche asesina porque es un depredador que amenaza seriamente la fauna autóctona. Desde hace unos años había observaciones aisladas, pero yo la veo con mucha frecuencia en un parque del centro de Valencia. He tomado esta foto en Julio de 2024.

In Amerika ist diese Wanze als leaf hopper assasin bug bekannt. Sie ist eine invasive Art, die hier in Europa nicht sein sollte. Diese Wanze ist aus Amerika stammend und trotz ihrer geringen Größe als Mordwanze bekannt, weil sie ein Raubtier ist, das die einheimische Fauna ernsthaft bedroht. Seit einigen Jahren gibt es vereinzelte Sichtungen, aber ich sehe sie sehr oft in einem Park im Zentrum von Valencia. Dieses Foto habe ich im Juli 2024 aufgenommen.

The first three photos of this male Orthetrum coerulescens dragonfly were taken with the main camera of the iPhone 15 Pro by adding a lens to focus close and decrease the depth of field. The fourth one is made with the macro mode of the ultra-wide-angle camera.

Die ersten drei Fotos dieser männlichen Libelle Orthetrum coerulescens wurden mit der Hauptkamera des iPhone 15 Pro aufgenommen, wobei eine Linse hinzugefügt wurde, um nah zu fokussieren und die Tiefenschärfe zu verringern. Das vierte Foto wurde mit dem Makromodus der ultra-wide Kamera aufgenommen.
