Some time ago I published here realistic #mantis #drawing - now it's time to more cartoon one. Like a character from nonexistent story, but for some reason I thought about them being a superhero. Kind of mutant mantis from space, who doesn't eat their partners... They could always eat the rich instead

This little one is on the same leaf from yesterday, and where there's one mantis there's an egg sac full of them, hopefully not too many have become towhee breakfast (but feeding the birds is OK too).

Time for realistic #insect I guess... This is praying #mantis, somehow turned out as if would be bigger than in reality.
And maybe this leaf below is not as realistic as I planned, but I also didn't want to make mantis itself blend into surroundings :/ Sometimes I wonder about drawing realistic animals without background...
