For #narcissism there seems to be nothing. No screening, not treatment, not even a prevalent discourse. As if was not even a problem to solve; as if it almost did not exist.

I can't help suspect it's because this group are so useful in #kyriarchy systems of control.

The excessive need to "climb the ladder", and the lack of genuine empathy, make them excellent managerial class construction material.

Just add "career prospects" and you have yourself a useful little 'smug pawn'.

If you give me a reference in any context and you don't describe me as "visionary and farsighted', you're not paying attention and/or your implicit bias is showing.

*Also, if you want to counter your own implicit biases, check yourself with: "Would I say this, or say it thi way about a man though / about a woman / about the member of a different group than the one I'm describing." It's elucidating.

sad reality: it’s a redpillboxhat wo/manosphere and until that is acknowledged nothing changes #kyriarchy

I have all sorts of ideas for projects I don't have time to do (particularly because I haven't won the lottery), but one would be making a tallysheet of how many war criminals and other deeply unethical people that are alums of the world's top universities.

@Photo55 You mean it does not equate but uses it as an example?
I think there are at least some feminists that equate them. I often see people (i.e. on fediverse) using "patriarchy" like a catch-all for "the system".
I guess that's why the term "#kyriarchy" exists.

"UCSD professors wanted money to research telepathy. They turned to Jeffrey Epstein.

‘I don’t have a problem with my lab being funded by Epstein,’ one wrote to another."

"In 2017, Ramachandran and two other UCSD professors, Paul Mills and Deepak Chopra, the famous New Age author, were launching a study of autistic children thought to be savants. They had a particular interest in one provocative claim — that some might have telepathic abilities."

Nope, Academia doesn't have any systemic problems at all, nope.

@KatyElphinstone Isn't this a variant of the old prejudice that #aspies lack emotions? I haven't actual heard that one in a while now, which I take as society making some small progress.

Now I think both these prejudice mainly stem from god old #kyriarchy, but despite that I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to however spreads both of these as I think there's at least one more thing to consider.
