Ich habe mir mal den Spaß gemacht, wg. meines alten Hotas Cougar an den #Support von #Thrustmaster zu schreiben.

An dem #Flightstick ist mal vor etlichen Jahren bei einem wilden #Dogfight was gebrochen. Leider nicht nur eine Feder oder sowas. Der Schubregler ist noch völlig in Ordnung. Ich bräuchte nur das gebrochene Gussteil; reparieren kann ich das selbst.

Immerhin sie mir schon nach zwei Tagen geantwortet. Sie wollen und können (natürlich) nichts versprechen. Das Dingen wird ja schon lange nicht mehr gebaut. Aber sie fragen mal rum bei den Veteranen der Firma. 👍

Ich wusste schon, dass der Support von TM sehr gut ist, aber so ein Service ist doch selten geworden heutzutage. Erfreulich.

Ob das wirklich Sinn macht, ist eine ganz andere Frage.

I'm now ~35h in the early access of #Subnautica2. At this point I finished the available content once and naturally started to fool around. What do you mean I can't control my sub like one of my space pew pew fighters? Make me! And yes there is a deeper sense in this - this is me learning to control the sub with my X52 Pro #HOTAS - that is my story and I'm sticking to it 😛

Conclusion des tests de ce matin : je suis plus à l'aise avec le roulis (roll) sur le palonnier et le lacet (yaw) sur le joystick ​​

Mais j'ai réussit à forcer Star Citizen à utiliser la définition native de mon nouvel écran (pas encore en HDR par contre, mais on y bosse), à reconnaître les 3 devices (viper tqs+mission control, joystick warthog et t-rudder) en même temps et j'ai un début de setup pour le binding (disons que y a encore des trucs basiques qui nécessitent l'utilisation clavier/souris ATM). #StarCitizen #SpaceSim #HOTAS

Le thrustmaster warthog flight stick n'ayant que deux axes, j'ai "peut-être" commandé le palonnier mk.V de chez vkb ​​ (parce que le thrustmaster bas de gamme fait vraiment pitié jouet, le haut de gamme est vraiment trop cher à 500€, thrustmaster ne propose rien entre les deux, les virpil sont en backorder, ou pré-commande et à quasi 400€ ttc+fdp).

Ainsi que des supports stick & throttle à fixations rapides pour bureau (j'en ai trouvé des pas chers, on verra ce que ça donne niveau solidité et stabilité).

Tout ça devrait arriver début/milieu de semaine prochaine, comme le nouveau moniteur ultrawide. ​​

Je me donne au plus tard jusque fin de semaine prochaine pour avoir un setup spacesim complet et fonctionnel. (et j'espère sans avoir besoin d'installer windows sur le pc) #SpaceSimAddict #hotas
