Just brought my #XPlane #flightsim #Cirrus Vision Jet back to Eugene (KEUG) via Atlanta, Tulsa, Aspen and Twin Falls, Idaho.
I was just out at our airport 2.0 hours ago, and it was really REALLY foggy. With RW #WX turned on, the sim nailed the fog.
On approach to 16R, I did not see the ground until over the ALSF2 lights.
METAR said 100' on the floor of the fog. More like 50'. Can I expect a call from the tower?
Naw. The regs are meant to be broken in fantasy flying.

RYR5774 and RYR5151, ferry back and forth between EGPF ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ and EIDW ๐ฎ๐ช in the #levelup #738 v2 that was just released, as the first flights for #2026. While the LevelUp versions might not handle exactly as well as the #Zibo, I think the visual upgrades and sounds are worth it, and I think it will be my main 737 workhorse from now on.
I hope the v2 will get livery support soon, as the original liveries do not match 100%.

Today I flew with live weather, which unfortunately brought more rain than the snow that was actually observed.
I departed from runway 24R hoping for a nice view over the city, but it was covered by clouds most of the time.

Tonight's #XPlane #flightsim mission was hauling a group of #UOregon Ducks fans from Scranton, PA to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl next Friday.
Dispatchers let me slap a Ducks logo on the side of my #Cirrus #SF50 Vision jet so the pax felt at home.
