Welp, I modded my #Thrustmaster T.16000m #joystick to make it less stiff https://youtu.be/5NsEpDkFvdU but now my wrist hurts just from testing all the stick's motions. 😬

It's probably the twist motion. That pinches the carpal tunnel if I'm not mistaken. (Maybe that's why twist sticks went out of style?)

I guess I'd better change my control setup to not use the twist. Hopefully that helps.

It will be tough to redo all that muscle memory, but as Seven of Nine would say: I will adapt. 😤

Apparently there is a mod https://channellfd.com/the-t16000m-joystick-led-tension-mods/ I can do to my #Thrustmaster T.16000m #joystick to make it less stiff.

Looks like a pretty delicate job, and I'm not terribly confident that I can do it without wrecking the stick…but it'll wreck my hand if I don't, so I may as well try.

Any advice would be appreciated!

10 raz próbuję skończyć złożenie stojaka na kierownice, do PS4 w freecad 1.0, ale ciągle dzieją się dziwne rzeczy w "assembly". Czas na 1.02
Projekt wymagał kilku poprawek, ale weszły. Na oko oceniam, że będzie wszystko współgrało. Dołożenie podpórki może okaże się zbędne, a ostatnie części i tak tworzyłem na "odwal się".
To był aktywny weekend.

Der erste Erfolg im Urlaub ist geglückt. 😀👍

Nachdem ich den Schubregler meines #Thrustmaster T16000M FCS Hotas aufgeschraubt und die Potentiometer des Mini-Joysticks mit Isopropanol gereinigt habe, ist die störende Drift nach unten weg.

Eine ausgiebiger Test mit einer #EliteDangerous Session lief sehr zufriedenstellend. 😊
