Rainier Roads

My first visit to this wonderful National Park. Going up the mountain it was still dark, so I didn't get to enjoy the beauty from the road until coming back down the mountain. There were several nice spots on the road where some fall foliage was showing its colors but the road was rather busy so it made it difficult to step out into the middle to capture this shot. Needless I found a spot and waited patiently on the side for a glimpse of no vehicles and darted out to the middle, quickly aim, focus and take the shot. (10/21/23)
