Been looking for a carbon fork for my road bike that has fully internal routing for both the brake hose and a dynamo cable and finally, finally found one that has all of the features I want (the Deda Gera Allroad Fork, for those wondering) but just as I was about to buy it, I remembered that my existing fork’s tapered steerer tube is 1.25" and the one I want has a 1.5" tapered steerer.
There are no integrated headset bearings that will allow me to accommodate the girthier steerer tube. 😭

It’s as if you’ve been depressed your whole life and can only admit it now, at the bitter end of your life. These stories fit the current state of humanity like a glove—it’s just painful and terrifying to witness. I know full well that we're all doomed to perish, and nothing can stop it now. Instead of mitigating the inevitable crash, humanity is really stepping on the gas as it hurtles downhill, so that the crash will be spectacular and almost no one will have a chance of survival. Damn it, I'd rather rewatch the other seasons and immerse myself in fantastic parallel worlds where I can pretend they have nothing to do with reality than be forced to face the inevitable failure of my own species.
