@colincornaby Here' a @ublockorigin filter to block the summary. (AdGuard and Brave use the same filter syntax, if you use those instead.)

youtube.com###expandable-metadata:has(path[d^="M480-80q0"])

That hides the element containing the #AI summary. It's frustrating that creators can't block them on their own videos for all their viewers, though.

#uBlockOrigin

Hot tip: To remove AI summaries from Youtube.

What you will need: Firefox and the Ublock Origins extension (Make sure your verify its the legit extension)

Go to your "filters" in settings.

Add these scripts:
www.youtube.com###expandable-metadata
www.youtube.com###flexible-item-buttons

I might put together a megathread to making the internet usable again from scripts others have written or I have found.

uBlockOrigin Tip: Clean up YouTube's UI

I enjoy watching videos on YouTube. I actually pay for YouTube Premium to get ad-free content. But every time I read the comments or live chats, or scroll down the video suggestions on the side of the video, or the overlays at the end, I regret ever wasting my brain cells on them. It would have been better if I hadn't seen them in the first place. [...]

Another useful cosmetic filter for Ublock Origin:

www.youtube.com###expandable-metadata

@mafm7956 new ublock rule just dropped -

###expandable-metadata:has-text(/Summary/)

mm mmmm so delicious mmmm

/* ==UserStyle==
@name youtube.com no "AI generated video summary"
@namespace github.com/openstyles/stylus
@version 1.0.0
==/UserStyle== */

@-moz-document domain("youtube.com") {
#expandable-metadata {
display: none;
}
}

I really think #Mastodon needs #resizable / #expandable #columns in its advanced view. I like being able to see multiple columns, but the "Home" column is WAY too narrow for my tastes.
