Finally tried out the tshirt heat press I found in the garbage on my way to work several months ago. It works!
Heat transfer vinyl (#htv) on a guildan tshirt from my closet.

I found a 1968 book by Jørgen Nash today, with a dedication from the author inscribed. A beautiful little situationist piece of art from his work at Drakabygget . Jørgen Nash was of course the guy who decapitated the little mermaid statue
Dear fediverse,
what is the best resource of do's and dont's for setting up a #repaircafe ?
I guess not what I do with my own repairs : 40 boxes with half broken stuff from other people, waiting to find that single crucial part, schematic, or plans to fix it with a 3d printed part (to be designed and printed), actually converting my place in a #dumpsterdive without divers.
Neither desoldering all weird parts because weird parts are difficult to get...

Walked past the trash and saw this poor guy poking out the top of the bin - dove it out without even thinking. Maybe I should have not thought even more and rummaged deeper for the controllers, because after finding some display and power cables, it worked perfectly - meet my first PS1!
How scared should I be of dumpstered meat? I only take meat that is intact plastic, but what if it has been standing in the store on a wrong shelf or too warm for too long..?
Tonight I'm cooking 3,5 kg of Osso Buco, and that is just the meat part! Dutch oven in the oven, big pot on the stove - it's a meat Bonanza! Most of my house mates are Vegetarian, so I'm inviting the neighbours over to come and help with the eating. I had no wine, so the brine is from, Aqua faba, lactoferments and the leftover vinegar brine from some pickled cucumbers. #yummy
