just so im not only on here boosting, here's a quick update on garbage dump pc:

i took apart the aio cooler to drain and clean it before refilling through what i hope will serve as a fill / bleed port. there was a good amount of gunk in the coolant.

here's the cooling plate fins after a fair amount of brushing, solvent, and ultrasonic cleaning. i can get at it with a really fine pick, but will probably give it a soak and more ultrasonic instead #repair #dumpsterdiving

one of these days I might finally learn how to clean a monitor. that day is not today.

tried alcohol, soapy water, some chlorine mix, wet wipes, every time the same crap... can you tell by these pictures which is the dirty one and which is "clean"? I sure can't, though I got the dirty rag to prove the work.

when the screen is lit, it's not noticeable. still, I'd like to possess that arcane skill...
