This was not the first failed attempt to update the humble post box. The rectangular F Type was introduced in 1968, but only lasted until 1974, when it was replaced by another rectangular one, the G Type. This proved just as unpopular and was soon phased out in favour of, you guessed it, traditional cylindical ones!

A K Type post box on Maryhill Road in Glasgow. Designed by Tony Gibbs and introduced in 1980, they were meant to be the 'post box of the future'. They didn't prove popular and by 1990, the Royal Mail had re-introduced the previous cylindrial version as an alternative. The last K type box was produced in 2001.

My girlfriend is a big tea drinker so I bought her this Ittala teapot as a gift. Only problem it does not appear to be able to pour hot tea (it dribbles like crazy even if you are very careful).
We tested the hypothesis that the design must have been tested with cold water and this appears to be the case. It only dribbles a bit when pouring cold water.
"Vessel": a $200M vanity staircase in Hudson Yards, a megablock spaceport on the West side of Manhattan, NYC. My first time seeing it person.
When the design was made public, suicide prevention experts warned the architect, Thomas Heatherwick, of its impact. They advised him to adapt it to reduce the risk. He refused, and his staircase caused the deaths of several people.
It is currently closed to climbers.

Das ist eine schöne analoge Funkuhr, zum an die Wand hängen. Die Einstellknöpfe im Uhrenmodul sind erhaben. Sie sind leider auch die größte Erhebung auf der Rückseite der Uhr. Ist der Haken in der Wand kurz, dann berühren die Knöpfe die Wand und “verursachen Dinge”.
Ich habe mit Moosgummi jetzt Abstandshalter aufgeklebt, aber bitte, wer denkt sich so einen Scheiß aus?
Das nabenlose Rad ist die bescheuertste und sinnloseste Erfindung im Fahrzeugdesign.
So sehr ich #AlexiBexi dafür bedauere, dass er viel Geld für ein sehr schlechtes Rad ausgegeben hat, so sehr freue ich mich auch über jede Sekunde seines Testberichts.
