Does anyone know what would cause any kind of arrhythmia to occur while sitting or lying down, but not while standing?

I was lying down in bed and feeling repeated palpitations that felt like skipped beats. Sure enough, my pulse oximeter showed that my pulse was skipping beats, and then I'd go moderately tachycardic (>120) again.

I'd stand up, and this would stop. Then I'd sit down, and it would continue. This went on for 30-45 minutes before I was able to sit down without my heart losing the plot.

Edit: Just to be clear, I will definitely be telling my doctor as soon as I can. I'll want to get a referral to an actual cardiologist ASAP.
