Former #WhiteHouse doctor calls for '#MedicalEvaluation' of Trump after disturbing new video

Dr. #JonathanReiner, who served as #cardiologist to former Vice President #DickCheney, took to #SocialMedia and urged #Trump to receive an evaluation. Reiner wrote, "Earlier in the week the president threatened to kill an entire #civilization. Now he posts a video of a woman being beaten to death.

I'm glad #JonathanReiner is speaking up and wish more #doctors would, esp. #neurologists who, though they might wish to avoid a diagnosis, can explain re: Trump's language difficulties. Like the historians of #fascism sounding the alarm re: #Trump, I think doctors have a similar role/obligation.

In no way do I think #Trump's cognitive issues are funny, #JonathanReiner is right. I'm glad he is speaking up and wish more #doctors would, especially #neurologists who, though they might wish to avoid a diagnosis, can offer #medical explanations re: Trump's language difficulties.
