L’ospedale svizzero chiede i soldi per il ricovero di tre italiani rimasti feriti nel rogo di Crans-Montana e l’Italia si rifiuta di pagare. Si va così allo scontro, non il primo dopo l’incendio di Capodanno. Uno scontro che arriva pochi giorni dopo quello sulle fatture inviate (ma da non pagare) dagli ospedali svizzeri alle famiglie dei feriti italiani.
La mutua svizzera chiederà quindi all’Italia un rimborso pari a 100mila franchi, ovvero circa 108mila euro. Soldi che dovrebbero coprire, secondo l’ospedale svizzero di Sion, le spese sanitarie per il breve ricovero di tre ragazzi italiani feriti nel rogo del Constellation di Capodanno a Crans-Montana.
La richiesta è emersa durante l’incontro tra l’ambasciatore italiano, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, e il presidente del Cantone del Vallese, Mathias Reynard. Quest’ultimo spiega che non ha altra possibilità dal punto di vista normativo e non può farsi carico delle spese.

L’ambasciatore ha annunciato che l’Italia “non pagherà le spese sanitarie per i feriti di Crans-Montana”. D’altronde, sottolinea, “il nostro Paese si è fatto carico per settimane della cura di due cittadini svizzeri all’ospedale Niguarda di Milano e la protezione civile della Valle d’Aosta ha partecipato ai soccorsi con un proprio elicottero nelle prime ore della tragedia. C’è un principio di reciprocità che va rispettato”
“Lo Stato italiano – prosegue l’ambasciatore – non si accollerà mai le spese per le cure prodigate per sole poche ore ai nostri ragazzi che sono rimasti intossicati o ustionati e che hanno sofferto e sono condannati a soffrire a causa dell’irresponsabilità dei gestori del locale e delle autorità”.
Anche il ministro degli Esteri, Antonio Tajani, ha ribadito la linea del governo italiano: “Mi pare che sia ovvio che non paghiamo”. Per il ministro “la responsabilità è solo di chi gestiva quel locale e di chi non ha fatto fare i controlli, non c’è alcuna responsabilità italiana”.

The Swiss mutual insurance company will therefore ask Italy for reimbursement of 100,000 Swiss francs, or approximately 108,000 euros. Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has also reiterated the line of the Italian government: “It seems obvious that we don’t pay.” For the minister, “the responsibility is only of those who managed that venue and of those who didn’t make the checks; there is no Italian responsibility.”
