Rakastan keskiaasialaista pilahvia, mutta jonkun hyvän biryanireseptin opettelu kiinnostaisi nyt kovasti. Aurangzeb oli ankarasta maineestaan huolimatta (tai sen vuoksi?) kasvissyöjä ja piti lihattomista biryaneista, kuten kirjeessä mainitusta "Kubbooleesta" (Qubooli).

I love it when kids come to visit because that means my wife relaxes the rules a little and I get to eat food I am otherwise not allowed to eat...like lots of rice. I am still trying to keep my weight and A1C within limits. But today she made absolutely awesome chicken biryani and let's just say I am going to have to walk it off for atleast an hour or so.

I had some delicious biryani at Bahubali Biryani House, at the South Western corner of Scott Road and Nordel Way, at the Kennedy Heights Shopping Centre, South, in Delta, BC.

It was delicious.

If you're looking for something around the area, I highly recommend.
