An increased chance of rain on Wednesday night into Thursday could produce wintry weather over portions of Southeast Texas, including Brazos Valley and Piney Woods, according to the National Weather Service.

Texas leaders deploy emergency resources as Houston enters second day of winter freeze

Temperatures across the Houston area dipped into the mid 30s again overnight Monday. A cold weather advisory will stay in effect across the area until 9 a.m. Tuesday, and another could be issued Tuesday into early Wednesday.
