I KNOW. All hierarchical assignments in the US involve a group's relationship to said conquerors. I'm the child of an #Austrian #Jew & #German #Christian who were #refugees of #WWII & I have fully Anglo features so no one ever looks at me as anything but #White (unless they spot my #JewFro;). This "passing" means that ignorant White ppl feel comfortable sharing their #racism & #bias w/me & they definitely give me an extra nod for being of #WesternEuropean descent.
