@YouGiveMeFever so if we're talking about the #Speaker debacle, the failure is not of #GOP governance, but of their solidarity. I had no problem with the vigorous and public debate over the election of the Speaker. I have a real issue with tiny rump of the party choosing to #vacate against the wishes of a majority of their colleagues.

Are there any experts on #US #HOR procedure here? I heard that #Gaetz was unsuccessful in gaining the call, which he presumably wanted to move a #motion to #vacate. No doubt he'll try again: is there a resource that explains the process for a procedural wonk like me?
