On my tasmota device MQTT config page, I set host to IP address of my local broker and set topic to localbytes1 and full topic to tasmota/%prefix%/%topic%/

TaikiI’m trying to set up #Tasmota on IR blaster. It’s installed and it works. Except it doesn’t boot without internet (VLAN with only dns, dhcp and ntp port to the router allowed).
DerJoshDer@lazou Verstehe ich. Nutze den auch nur als #KI Frontend mit #PageAssist Plugin und #Ollama weil er so schön wenig Speicher wegfrisst. Oder zum direkten Programmieren von #Mikrocontroller n, #Firefox kann nicht seriell schreiben. #Tasmota direkt aus dem Browser flashen, oder #Meshtastic auf einen #ESP32 mit #LoRaWan. Zugegeben, die Abhängigkeit von Google wäre vielleicht etwas für den nächsten #diday...🤔

Marko DimjaševićI have a few RGBCTT bulbs flashed with Tasmota and integrated into Home Assistant. I forgot to back up their configuration, and kids reset them by flipping a wall switch a few times in a row. Guessing and configuring Tasmota from scratch has been a daunting task for me. Luckily the bulbs are supported by #ESPHome (https://esphome.io/components/output/bp5758d/) and I can migrate OTA from #Tasmota to ESPHome: https://esphome.io/guides/migrate_sonoff_tasmota/
