How are people finding Pocketbook ereaders from the usability and privacy angles? I’ve read good things, but don’t know anyone who has one in person so can’t check it out more directly.

Are there any alternatives you’d suggest that are strong on those points? (I have yet to find a write up for the other brands I’m aware of that are complimentary on privacy.) definitely looking at an e-ink option, not a tablet. I also use Libby with my current device to check out library books so I would want to continue to have that option too.

Nachdem mein Pocketbook Verse leider schon das zweite Mal einem Displaybruch erlegen ist, werd ich wahrscheinlich mal den Anbieter wechseln.

Amazon fällt aus Gründen raus.

Auch ein größeres Display evtl. mit Farbe wäre toll, vor allem für PDFs wie PnP-Regelwerke. Onleihe ist auch wichtig. Gibt es da Empfehlungen?

Ich tendire zum Tolino Vision Color oder Kobo Libra Color, was anscheindend dieselbe Hardware hat, oder was rechtfertigt den generell höheren Preis von Kobos?

EDIT 2: was mich auch beim Pocketbook gestört hat, ist die sehr langsame Reaktionszeit, weiß aber nicht ob andere das besser können

@bsm @14mission @TeaKayB I confirm that PocketBook device aren't hooked to a given store: At least one can feed them with mostly any book format and the official store can be completely hidden.Also PocketBook publish SDKs, so one can develop custom applications or scripts (but prepare for a mostly undocumented context).
