again, shout out to #yunohost that does all this stuff by default. i always say this --- authentication is the hardest part of self-hosting.

Anybody here that can help with an issue with #yunohost and #mail? One yunohost server defined as MX voor incoming mail for the domain @example.com, another server sending transactional emails via scaleway with sender [email protected]. Works fine, except for non-delivery to @example.com addresses, which are rejected with a ‘user not logged in’ error. Appreciate any help.

je vais faire un atelier serveur autonome pour l'auto-hébergement bientôt sur Saint-Nazaire
on commencerait par #yunohost sur un pc de récup dans une boite à chaussure pour évoluer vers #proxmox et des LXC ynh puis #Wireguard pour l'isolation selon les envies
je voudrais proposer de monter une brique de communication pour les asso militantes ici
et donc #DeltaChat est un bon candidat

Ooh yeah! I've been waiting for #GoToSocial to support relays for ... well, since I started using it. Which was immediately after #Yunohost made it available, so that's quite a while now. Very exciting news for my favourite #ActivityPub fedi server.

bon , je pourrais mettre openMPTCP sur une VM aussi...
mais je suis une route tracée aussi pour collée à mes besoins d'un temps (5 ou 6 asso, la famille, ca allait jusqu'a une centaine de sites/Services pour <=100 uti)
paradoxalement l'usine à gaz hyperviseur/VM/LXC est plus facile pour l'expérimentation, la maintenance et l'usage sur une dizaine d'année.

la ,je prefere autonomiser chaque asso/lieu
et simplifier un max, #yunohost seul ou #promox&LXCs yunohost

You have far more base than I. Almost everything I have is Linux-based, and mostly the feeb end of the pool (#Yunohost has a great set of services oob - xmpp, email, etc.)

I am looking to gain experience with *BSD. I said this last year, too. <sigh>

Auf meinem #Yunohost läuft #WatchYourLan und ich hab nicht daran gedacht als ich die "entered promiscuous mode" und "left promiscuous mode" Einträge im Log gesehen hab...

Ich hab "nur" 1 Stunde gebraucht um mich wieder daran zu erinnern nach dem ich erst einmal den gesamten Host nach den üblichen Verdächtigen abgesucht hatte.
