Не так давно вот в этой статье я рассказал как можно собрать свой кастомный sysupgrade образ имея только роутер с openwrt, а вот здесь о том как можно собрать новый образ для нестандартного оборудования на основе dts файла. Сегодня попробуем зайти с другой стороны и посмотрим какую информацию можно достать из существующего sysupgrade образа, и для того чтобы повысить уровень сложности работатаь мы будем с образом на основе UBIFS. Итак в нашем распоряжении файл sysupgrade.bin - это специализированный формат упаковки OpenWrt, который содержит несколько компонентов и может различаться в зависимости от архитектуры устройства. Hi all, I have a Netgear D7800 that I have run openwrt on for a long time. Does anyone else have one (or similar) and how do I get sysupgrades working? They error out when I upload a sysupgrade image, with an error about unsupported partition layout. But as far as I can tell, I have a v2.0 layout, as I flashed a factory openwrt image manually. Is sysupgrade just not supported at all anymore (and if so, why do the images still exist?), or do I need to do something to reenable it?

Bit-Brick Cluster K1 is a cluster board designed to mount up to four SSOM-K1 system-on-modules powered by a SpacemiT K1 octa-core RISC-V processor. The board targets developers, researchers, and system integrators working on edge computing, AI workloads, and high-performance embedded applications. The Cluster K1 relies on an onboard Gigabit Ethernet switch chip to interconnect four core boards, giving each board an independent network port for fast and stable inter-node communication with automatic IP assignment. Other key features include USB 3.0/2.0 ports, HDMI output (master slot only), a USB Type-C debug port, an M.2 M-Key slot for storage expansion, a 3-pin fan power header, and dedicated power, reset, and download buttons. (EDIT: For those who don't know, OpenWrt is an open-source operating system for network routers. In theory, it might also be possible to use an Xbox 360 as a Wi-Fi access point.)

I haven’t used open wrt before and need to buy a comparable router. I’m also not sure if I might swap to ddWRT (and I’m not really sure what the difference is) The Netgear R9000 is supported by ddWRT but not on the official list of openWRT routers. However, there is an active git for the firmware [https://github.com/masmbit/Netgear-R9000-Build/blob/master/bin/README.md] and the git seems to be a mirror of the official openWRT [https://git.openwrt.org/openwrt/openwrt.git] So does this mean that openWRT is available, but in dev for the R9000? And that I could use it but might have issues? The reason I chose the R9000 this is that I was looking at the R500 and can get that pretty cheap and works on both openWRT and ddWRT. But I found a R9000 for the same price as the R500 and the R9000 has double the ram and flash.

Keine Ahnung wie ich es geschafft habe. Eigentlich habe ich ihm nur ein Softwareupdate gegeben und ihm gesagt er soll die Settings behalten. Seitdem kann ich ihn nicht mehr via LuCi erreichen.
Einzig und allein SSH will noch. Einer Neuinstallation des OpenWRT OS verweigert er sich auch.
OpenWRT habe ich daher erstmal zu den Akten gelegt. Ich bleibe für erste bei Fritzbox und FritzOS was Router und Routersoftware angeht.
Momentan kann ich OpenWRT nämlich nicht sehr sehen🫣.
