Otso Tiaisen ohjaama dokumentti Shadowland (2024) oli aivan erilainen mitä odotin. Luulin vilpittömästi, että dokumentissa käsiteltäisiin kataareja, Ranskan Pyreneiden kulttuurihistoriaa ja alueella asuvien ihmisten elämää sekä salatieteitä.

Mutta elokuva olikin surullinen kertomus vieraantumisesta, mielenterveyden ongelmista, parisuhdeväkivallasta ja narsismista. Masentavalla tavalla tuttu tarina missä tahansa ympäristössä ja olosuhteissa.
