This is the third album by The Prince of Soul to be released after his death in '67. The tracks were mostly recorded in '67 at the legendary Stax Studios in Memphis and released on June 20, 1969. The album was produced by the great Steve Cropper and Otis' backing band was the unrivaled rhythm section of Booker T. & the M.G.'s, along with the blistering horns of the Mar-Keys.
