"Turkish-farmed sea bass and sea bream is being fed on fishmeal exported from three factories in Senegal ... The women who work locally must keep their prices affordable for their customers and say they cannot compete on price with the factories, forcing increasing numbers of them out of work.
The data led us from these factories, via Turkey’s sea bass and sea bream farms, to Billingsgate fish market in London and the fish counters of supermarkets across the UK. Here, fish grown by farms that have used Senegalese fishmeal are labelled “responsibly” sourced or farmed, based on certification from the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and other standards bodies."

Featuring: a mediterranean moray eel looking curiously out of its little hole, a spiny lobster also looking out of its hole with a nice orange sponge at the ceiling, an octopus hiding in its hole and carefully peeking out of it, and another octopus that is walking towards its hole for hiding, in the foreground a two-banded seabream and a painted comber looking towards the octopus.

Featuring: a fanworm in a little cave surrounded by rocks covered with colorful sponges and algae plus two starfishes, and the view across the seaground with lots of damselfish swimming at the top, a two banded sea bream and a painted comber below. The ground is covered with rocks, black sponges, a few fanworms and yellow tube sponges.
