Have you noticed the #insects and #bugs out in the world are declining? It's our fault (yes, all of us humans).
We need global change to reverse this, but there are things you can do (or stop doing) to make a small positive difference.
Stop using broad spectrum "solutions" for specific problems. If ants are invading your house, don't kill every bug in and around your house to kill them. Find an ant specific method. Better still, find a #native spider or other ant predator to do the work.
Replace your #introducedspecies plants, shrubs, and trees with #nativespecies equivalents. Build islands of native plants to add to the #HomeGrownNationalPark.
As mentioned in the video, you can contribute to #PlanetWild (and use the code kyle7). Stop using bug zappers.
WE NEED BUGS, Y'ALL. ❤️🐝🐞🦋🐜🐛🪲🦟🦗❤️

Whilst bees hog the pollinator limelight the role #hoverflies play in this area should not be overlooked. Hoverflies don’t ‘carry’ as much pollen as bees but visit more plants. They also help to control #aphid numbers. #bee #bees #beesofmastodon #beesanctuaryireland #beesanctuary #bumblebees #solitarybees #gardening #nature #organic #vegan #savingbees #pollinators #fun #flowers
