Be sure to order handmade Pride jewelry early. Otherwise, if you wait until Pride is upon you, you may not be able to get it made and shipped to you in time.

Tech billionaires do not care about us; for them, our communities only serve to be exploited for capital gain... They’ve revolutionized the art of cultural appropriation, making algorithms that can steal Native art and use it without consent much faster than was ever before possible.

OMG the insensitivity of colonizers amazes me. Having a restaurant named Land Run Grill is like having a bar named Lynching Lounge and Ghost Dance is off the charts...

Native American hunter gatherers were using dice for gaming and gambling more than 6,000 years before the practice appeared anywhere else, a new study argues.

It says dice were being made and used on the western great plains of North America at the end of the last ice age, more than 12,000 years ago.

Trump administration targets tribal college funding for second year in a row

The Trump administration is proposing cuts to federal funding for tribal colleges and universities for the second year in a row. In the fiscal year 2027 budget, President Donald Trump seeks to eliminate funding for the Institute for American Indian Arts, the only federally funded college for contemporary Native American arts. The budget also targets funding for dozens of tribal colleges and universities, as well as Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas and the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in New Mexico. Leaders at TCUs are urging Congress to defend their funding, which they say is part of the country's treaty and trust responsibilities to tribal nations.
