Another Bee today! 🐝 This is a European Wool Carder Bee settling in for a nap on a piece of lavender.
Went back a few days ago to the lavender patch and unfortunately it was pretty crispy and dried out and had very few bees. 😢 It was absolutely bustling a couple of weeks ago though! ✨

I posted this a few weeks ago and said this was a White Wisteria Tree. I was wrong! An Italian friend informed me recently that it's an Acacia tree - but actually that's not completely correct either.
In Italian it's commonly known as an Acacia but it's a Black Locust Tree or a Robinia Pseudoacacia - so it's a false Acacia. (Whatever it is though, they smell soooo gooood)
