* disabled people (no "nazis are... [okay I really hope I don't have to give an example here]")

To insist upon "a simplified, legible order on our complex, diverse, and organic social reality" is to reinscribe logics of the very state ideology that one would seek to critique with #saneism.
The bureaucrats whose actions one would characterize as "insane" are just as committed as you are to transforming others into mere categories.

like, i still don't know how to deal with people like that, how to be around that because it's so fucking common.
it's easier to tolerate it from people who just haven't done a lot of work unpacking their saneism in general but it's fucking painful from people who basically know every word that is ableist except that one? it feels so hypocritical and i don't know how to tolerate that. it just gets me way too emotional which isn't good for me but it's nothing i can avoid though either. send help
