CDC now provides explanation as to why four HHS regions remain dark.

Eris dot6 kid HV.1 was ~⅓–⅖ share in all tracked regions, except for NY/NJ where it's near ⅗. Eris dot6 child HV.1 another ⅙–³⁄₁₀ share across regions.

Third place held variously by EG.5 & JD.1.1 in the east & midwest, JG.3 & HK.3 in the west.

need fedi administration help

im wanting to make my akkoma server more accessible to more people, but to do that, i need the mailer to work so the server can send emails for password resets and such

does anyone have experience with getting the akkoma mailer to work with a mailing service and is willing to help me get it online? i ideally want to spend next to nothing on the email account ($5/month or less) and want low friction and low maintenance

our friends visited and stayed with us and one had a cold/stuffy nose. so they both took covid tests (repeatedly negative) and masked in shared indoor spaces and in the car with us the whole time. they decided to do this on their own, stuck to it consistently, and didn’t complain about it. this is the post covid public health revolution I signed up for

@jacobschumer I’m working on a guide for “civilians” on how to use #PACER and then i’ll probably add one for the #NYSCEF as well but the same holds: NY’s system is much better than the federal. California takes the cake with being fully unavailable to the public and atrocious.
