I once hit inbox zero, but the emails kept arriving.
I could quickly sort them mostly, but a few got quite conniving.
I needed to reply to them, but the answer hadn't formed.
Or the depth of answer they deserved, didn't match my time to spend.

So my inbox is still zero, in fact it's several zeroes now.
But preceding all those zeroes is a number that isn't so.
And that first important email, which started all this shame,
Has been buried in pagination, and I'm the only one to blame.
