12 hours since #Covid shot 12, and I'm down to about 40-50% arc movement in any direction before the muscle becomes painful enough to stop movement. My fault for letting the paracetamol lapse ~8 hours ago (I wanted a Whisky). #Flu Vax in a week or two after, then another couple of weeks for the (so I'm told) "strap in for the ache" of #Shingles Vax.
On the upside, sprained finger is (slowly) recovering.

Feeling sickly from my second #shingles jab.
This is the appointed hour for me to awkwardly gush emotional and tell you that you're all brilliant and lovely and I love you all.
(I get seriously sappy when I'm sick. Like, literally lying on an ER bed, listening to Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" and blubbering like a loon.
A friend described it as my superpower. My immediate response was "I DID NOT ASK FOR THIS!!" 😂)

It’s 2 days later & so far I’ve had no bad #reaction to the 2nd #shingles #vaccination at all. 🤞

The 1st of the 2 shots I definitely reacted to. My arm was inflamed for days & the heat coming off it was very noticeable.
I totally forgot! I was also just given the 2nd #Shingles shot!
THAT’S supposed to be the bad one re: reactions & pain.

If I might add a personal note on the horror of the child abuse inflicted by #PlagueLover #antivaxers: I was born in 1957, before an effective vaccine against measles, much less chickenpox, even existed. If those vaccines HAD existed, my parents would have made sure I got them; whatever their flaws, they were staunch believers in modern medicine, including vaccination. They told me that I came very close to dying of measles before I was old enough to remember it. Unfortunately, I DO remember getting #chickenpox at age 6. Even today, more than half a century later, I remember the ghastly, relentless, tormenting itching — as well as the pain of the attack of #shingles, a recurrence of the same virus, that I got at age 44.
And these #antivax fools would voluntarily force their children to embrace these horrors??
