London. It's the epicentre of Britain but without it the UK's GDP is equivalent to the poorest state in the US. And one fifth of the total population is living in poverty.

Anyone else remember when the tune to Madness' Baggy Trousers was used as the themesong for a breakfast cereal in the 1980s? It was some sort of shredded wheat pillow with a drizzle of frosting on it.

Re-listening to an old popculture podcast from 2011, and a segment each show catalogues the famous people who died over the last week. In this one, the famous person, the Tinseltown Stiff, is Jimmy Saville; known for his show Jim'll Fix It... AND NOTHING ELSE, because the news hadn't come out yet.
