@alxlg With @bluebuild you can use the rebase and upgrade commands to build your recipe and boot it. Check `bluebuild rebase --help` or `bluebuild upgrade --help` for more info. (Right now we only support #rpmostree but have plans for #bootc in the future)

Just rebooted and I’m up and running with Fedora Silverblue 40.

(Just tried reinstalling mozilla-openh264 – so videos work in Firefox – but it failed with the same error. Not a big deal, I’m using @Vivaldi as my main browser these days anyway and I guess the Fedora folks will fix this in time.)

More importantly, I wonder if the screen reader has been fixed yet. (Yes, Fedora ships with a broken screen reader.)

Note that I just encountered the following issue:

https://github.com/fedora-silverblue/issue-tracker/issues/536

Which I worked around by removing mozilla-openh264 before running the rebase again, at which point it succeeded:

rpm-ostree remove mozilla-openh264

A good read on #immutable #distro especially the #rpmostree variant. I learned about it from @jorge talking about this new paradigm of using your #computing workflow in a #cloudnative way. I started with their initial effort on #ublue and has been happily running on my Microsoft Surface 2, everything works perfectly. It's been years since I used #Fedora and I never thought I'd be using it again, but things have changed, especially with #oss community efforts like this.
