When #Mozilla started removing power user features from #Firefox, they repeatedly said that were a loud minority, and they were willing to sacrifice us as users to create a better browser for the majority.

Before, when power users were still a part of their user base, Firefox had close to 40% of the browser market and rising. After that "minority" left, and started recommending and/or installing Chrome for our friends and family, how is that remaining "majority" looking for you, Mozilla? How large a market share do you have now? Is is 500% of the browser market? Or is it more like 5%, downhill on a sunny day?

Mozilla and their fans will of course claim that unfair marketing from Google destroyed their market share. No, Google was no different than Microsoft (remember IE?) We, the power users, pushed Firefox to nearly 40% of the browser market by word of mouth and installing it for our friends and families. When you pushed us away, that's what you lost. We still talk to each other about which browser is the best, and we still install browsers for our friends and family. But Firefox is no longer the one.

#Firefox and #Mozilla used to get prominent spots in this game. For the first time in well over a decade, they are sadly not allowed to join the party, due to their horrible, alienating decisions over the last few years.
