And the best part is, it is using the αcτµαlly pδrταblε εxεcµταblε (APE) format which runs on pretty much any x86-64 machine ... no matter the OS (windows, linux, mac, bsd)

I've recently been doing a lot of reading and exploration on things like around redbean, lua, tcl/tk, c, portability, longevity, and "old" tech and can't help but get excited or overly curious about them.

I had an idea for extending #uxn5 to allow programs to communicate: implement the Console device as a simple RESTful API (or similar) on a webserver, POSTing output when available and periodically GETting input (maybe have a session number allowing multiple "conversations" between different #uxn programs). Ideally, build the serverside code in #RedBean so that it works on any platform! #uxn11 and #SDL uxn could be integrated in with a bit of a massage using #cURL!

- That is also a binary
- That runs unmodified (!) on Windows, Mac, Linux, *BSD
- It runs a webserver able to handle 1M+ queries per second
- To add new pages, just add them to the ZIP file
- You can add Lua scripts to the ZIP file and they are run dynamically by the webserver
From now on, all my apps will be portable web apps written for and distributed with Redbean.
