So while I have shied away from a classical Good vs Evil cosmic dichotomy with developing my vision for the Lashunta and Castrovel, I have been fascinated by the possibility of a remnant Cthulhu-esque cult, something that taps into Elder, Outer Sorcery, in communion with Things Lashunta Were Not Meant To Know! Thus the inspiration of Cursed Ylisaeua, which gets mentioned in the upcoming Chapter 40 of _A Castrovel Adventure: Part 5_, and connects back to the extinct Moqeva who once warred with the Lashunta Warrior-Queens.

Alphonse Mucha (1860 - 1939), one of the leaders of the Art Nouveau movement.

Lashunta live under a kind of ignorant wonder of the night sky and the stars floating within. While a practice of astronomy has grown within the Hall of Stars atop Ta-Shestaru, stars are viewed as a phenomenon of the upper atmosphere, largely invisible to most of the population living far below the cloud-layer. Even in Heaventide when the sky temporarily clears, most Lashunta, dwelling under the Megadendra rainforest's canopy, may get only chance glimpses from the upper boughs.

The Lashunta may know of the goddess Desna (Deznae) from the Elves, but on Castrovel she evokes at best minor interest. Here her portfolio is reduced to wanderers. What are the odds that Castrovel's pole star even coincides with Golarion's? What are the implications if they don't? More interestingly, what would it mean if they do match??

- I was originally thinking of going for the Grandeur cause, but it doesn’t allow you to associate with demons or undead, and how are you supposed to seduce the pretty vampire lady back to the light? Redemption is the best option for dealing with all the cute girls on the other side 🧵
