#RPGaDay2025 Day 8: Explore

I actually don't want begin with that much knowledge about the world. It will be for me too to explore. Not just in terms of geography but society too. How fucked is the old imperial realm one-and-a-half generation after the Moonfall?

I have my two favourite resources to help me explore: Worlds without Numbers (or something else by Kevin Crawford) and Ironsworn: Star forged (or Sundered Isles by Shawn Tomkin). Both are filled to the brim with useful tables and rules for procedural generation.

I am looking for more resources, so if you have recommendations toss them this way

#RPGaDay2025 Day 7: Journey

Where will the campaign take the characters? At least not to world changing events. Regional influence perhaps. But I want to keep it close to home. Threats will be against something home. Opportunities will help those at home. They may go on longer journeys but it is in service of home.

At home it will be journeys about relationships, about influence and about futures. Much will depend on what the players want to make of it and here player selection will be important. If I get that luxury...
