I've touched on this before, but the act of slaying a ~qoelu~ megafauna is doubtlessly a central theme of lashunta myth and legend. It is likely reflected in everyday livelihoods as well, since patrols are mounted to protect settlements for ~qoelu~ incursions, and hunting, bringing not only meat but hides, bones, claws, and teeth, and be a highly profitable profession.

Yet given the lashunta's habit of psychically-enhance symbiosis, what about the trickster-hero who tames the megafauna? How does the community ally with a herd of 20-ton earthshakers? How does this become part of their culture?
