New preprint/model: the Rosa-Margin Hypothesis. When the vCA1 safety buffer shrinks (<~5 mV), everyday network transients trigger involuntary replay of emotional engrams → SZ/MDD/PTSD trajectories.
Falsifiable endpoints: MEG γ-burst ↓ ≥35%, HRV rMSSD +≥5 ms.

Temporal control of progenitor competence shapes maturation in GABAergic neuron development in mice - Nature Neuroscience

Unlike cortical progenitors, ventral telencephalic progenitors retain the ability to generate diverse neuron types during neurogenesis. Here, the authors show that ventral telencephalic progenitor maturation is gated by developmental timing, revealing a distinct regulatory logic underlying the development of inhibitory neurons.

Das Fediverse ist meinem Empfinden nach neurodiverser als die Offlinewelt, queerer als die Offlinewelt, progressiver als die Offlinewelt und nerdiger als die Offlinewelt.

Alles dicke Pluspunkte für das Fediverse im Vergleich zur Offlinewelt, kein Wunder, dass ich hier so viel Zeit verbringe und so oft die Zeit vergesse dabei.

Und die Bezeichnung #Neurofediverse kam mir ja auch nicht grundlos in den Kopf letzte Tage.
