Everybody went nuts over Guns 'N' Roses except me. I liked them, but I didn't do backflips thinking they were "the best American rock band ever" (that belonged to Aerosmith IMO). I enjoyed "Appetite" and "Lies". After Izzy Stradlin left I started losing interest as their unique jangly sound became just another "hard" metal sound with the addition of Gilby Clarke.

"Use Your Illusion" was overblown, they gave us 2 mediocre records that could have been 1 awesome record.

#DS9’s is not a theme song whose rhythm they should’ve gotten expressive with in the actual show opening. It relies so much on off-beat sequences that it’s hard to get where the beats are supposed to fall when they’re rubato-ing it up. #StarTrek #MusicGeek #StarTrekDS9 #DeepSpace9
