@overholt I once lost all respect for a handful of colleagues in a #cocktails Slack channel. Someone mentioned Skrewball peanut butter whiskey, and when I made the textual equivalent sour face, others pushed back and insisted I try it

So, on these recommendations, I bought a bottle.

Tasting notes: elegantly captures someone having washed out the vat of whatever chemical they put in Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups, with all the greasiness emulsified in, and bottled the runoff, mixed with Everclear

Thankfully, the bottle I bought was an airplane bottle

Am Leopoldplatz ist ein bekanntes Café neu gestartet: Im Pavillon vor der Schiller-Bibliothek hat das The Noir eröffnet. Morgens gibt es weiterhin türkische und internationale Frühstücksgerichte, ab Mittag setzt ein vietnamesisches Küchenteam auf asiatische Fusionsküche. Dazu kommt ein aufwendig gestaltetes Interieur, das aus dem kleinen Bau einen überraschend eleganten Ort gemacht hat.
