MiM is a series of intergenerational workshops hosted by Arts for Art and led by professional improvising musicians! These workshops are for a wide group of generations - we have had participants from 8 years old to early college age to parents of children! The workshops build upon a young person’s natural ability to improvise, while introducing them to the world of music. With improvisation as the basis of our pedagogy, our teachers give students the capacity to create music, both collaboratively and individually, whether the student is beginner or advanced.
