Lovely temperatures and we ran up and along the Mintos, back through the forestry road and then woods and a little road about 13k. The climb up to the trig point is steep, and the dug pauses at intervals to bark encouragement. I have pointed out to him that (a) he is younger than me and (b) he has four paw drive but he always does it.
No people, but lots of insects and as is customary lambs playing poker

BethOh my!.... All I was asking her to do was look up so I could snap a photo.
Afternoon run. Glorious weather - taps aff time. 15k, mainly tracks (forest and sheep). Luckily this missed, but the dug was taking no chances. (Actually it fell some time in the last 48 hours). At least today I remembered to pack a water bottle for the dug. If anyone has not seen whese, they are great and close well enough not to wet the contents of your pack.
Evening run
A lovely Saturday evening, and a gentle sunset saw us getting in one of our regular 12.5 k road runs through Minto and back along the Teviot, and as often absolutely no traffic.
