dereisenhofer#AudioEngineer I have the weirdest situation. I use an UMC1820 with a Focusrite Octopre MKII Dynamic.
Both worked together under Linux, until they didn't: The Locked light wasn't shining anymore and no signal came from the pre.
I connected the interface to a Win PC, also, no Locked LED and no sound from the pre.
But: When I set the Focusrite to Internal clock and the UMC to OpticalIn so that the pre gives the clock to the UMC, then the devices are locked and I get sound from the pre to my DAW.
