Last week the kids and I went to the Norwegian Laft Hus festival in Red Deer. I highly recommend it. Great food, interesting heritage displays, and enthusiastic participants.

It’s #krumkake making day at our house. My wife’s grandmother was a #Norwegian immigrant to Canada in the 1930’s. One of the family #Traditions was krumkake at #christmas . They’ll be part of family gathering for the next few days.

It’s happening. The #krumkake making is under way. A bit of my wife’s #Norwegian heritage from her grandmother’s recipe. They are a great gift that she shares with the family and friends.
