I guess the “controversial” part is the blunt, racialized analogy and the sweeping category of “American Zionists,” not the observation that Zionists in the U.S. are often privileged and complicit. #AIPAC, #ADL, Miriam Adelson… when you pay for access to influence U.S. foreign policy, you can’t simultaneously claim to be a victim. Not after the #Nakba, and certainly not after the Gaza genocide.
